Sradio is a VHF communication primarily intended for yrkesutdøvere in agriculture and forestry, but also to other relevant traffic in outlying areas. The system will primarily be used to notify accidents so as to limit the damage. Sradio is also a communication connection and not just emergency network. Sradio is primarily developed in outlying areas where communications are enjoying great benefits of having affiliated deployed through talk drives (amplifiers) that provides good coverage, and associated responders for situations where one needs immediate help.
Sradio has an agreement with Norwegian Air Ambulance Service and all helicopters affiliated with this organization. The agreement means that all medical helicopters CHANNEL 1 in their communications.
